Dan Carlin



 Dan Carlin is a lawyer and the co-founder of the Berkeley Initiative for Mindfulness in Law, a research and training organization based at UC Berkeley School of Law that helped catalyze the spread of mindfulness in legal education and in the legal profession. He is currently working on a project to introduce mindfulness training more widely to prosecutors, public defenders, and judges, as a way to bring compassion, fairness, and humanity to the criminal justice system.

Prior to his law career, Dan was a magazine and newspaper reporter and worked as a management consultant to Fortune 1000 companies.
