Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive a certificate of completion and be able to use “EMI CMT-P Mindfulness Facilitator” as your credential. You will also be eligible to apply for certification with the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (www.imta.org).

Our intro course is a 4-week online offering. We consider it ideal to take our introductory course, although we will accept graduation from an equivalent course (email us for details) .

We require attendance at a week-long, teacher-led silent meditation retreat as a pre-req for applying to our program. You can review our suggested retreat centers here. Our scholarship rate is available and listed on our payment plan information on the home page. Please consider your needs carefully for the scholarship rate, so we can reserve our limited scholarship funds for those who would otherwise not be able to enroll.

We are a certified CE provider with NBCC (for counselors) and ASWB (for social workers) and offer 152 CE credit hours for successful completion of the MTT300 course.

A $250 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your place in the training. This fee guarantees your space as enrollment is limited. Training fees are nonrefundable if a registration is cancelled by the participant within one month (30 days) of the start date of the training. If enrollment is cancelled by the enrollee more than a month (30 days) prior to the training start date, course fees are refundable, minus the $250 nonrefundable deposit. We reserve the right to substitute faculty at any time, cancel or reschedule sessions due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the training is canceled in entirety by the Engaged Mindfulness Institute, registrants will receive full refunds of the paid registration fees. No refunds can be made for lodging, airfare or any other expenses related to attending the training. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.
